Adva Mobile Analytics - Measure Your Success


A music band's fans are essentially its "customers" and you should make every effort to understand and please them. That include's of course, maintaining close contact through a band-specific mobile web and App and other band-management tools, but sometimes, there's no substitute for good, hard analytics. New Ways to Nab New Fans From the Stage

Raving FansPlaying live means there are always people in the audience who could become fans. Don't let them go home without asking them to join your fan club so you can tell them about your next gig and sell them your music!




Here are three ways you can nab new fans from the stage by using their mobile phones:
  • Tell them to SMS your keyword to GETME (43863): Text McAlister to GETME...Easy to remember, easy to join! It'll even work better if you add it to your merch table as well.
  • How about a cool snappy URL? Adva.US/ is for your fans to access from their phones or PCs. For example: Adva.US/McAlister
  • Spread the word over your MySpace, Facebook pages, or anywhere else using your own personalized widget.

What can you do with your Mobile Fan Club?

If you are an artist, here are a number of the things you can do with your new mobile fan club:

  • Give your fans a way to text message to join the club using a keyword (as in, when fans text "McAlister" to 43863 (GETME), "McAlister" is called a keyword. try it!) and send them alerts about new gigs, content and other news.

  • Present mobile web pages (these are pages that an be viewed by mobile phones). Like your MySpace page, just optimized to mobile phones and PCs (check out our band index page).

  • Let your fans download songs, images or other content on your pages.

  • Let your fans tell their friends on Twitter, Facebook and other communities.

  • Give your fans the option to buy tickets, merchandise, music and other stuff directly from you.

  • Let your fans comment, request gigs, participate in raffles (backstage passes) etc., directly from their phone.


Of course, we have plenty more ideas what fans would like to do within this experience, and we'd love to hear from you, too.
